The Rye Arts Center presents . . .
Cosmic Pizza Night
This family event takes place on Tuesday, February 3rd from
6:30 - 8:30 pm. Recommended for ages 10 and up. The night's
events include a walk through the exhibition Heavens Above:
Photographs of the Universe from the Hubble Space Telescope.
Docents will explore the artistic and scientific aspects of the
images. Dr. Gail Roman, Ph.D., art historian and Linda
Goldstein, arts educator, will lead an interactive discussion of
the visual impact of the astral images on view. Jim Pelgrift,
former President of the Discovery Museum and Planetarium,
and Charlie Gibson, President of the Amateur Astronomers, of
Westchester will conduct the science session. RSVP for
Cosmic Pizza Night is recommended. The cost is $8.00 per
person.
