Artroom, edition II – Collective loft – March 10-31 2016 Antidote is delighted to announce the second edition of Artroom, C ollective loft , Antidote’s annual rendez-vous for an alternative experience for art & design collectors during the most exciting weeks of the city’s 2016 art & cultural season. This year, Artroom,  Collective loft   will take place in the heart of Al Quoz, opposite Alserkal Avenue thanks to our partner Zumtobel lighting. Artroom,  Collective loft,  is a life-size installation of the interior of a young collector’s home, mixing fine art & design objects, chosen with a special connection to the places visited around the world, creating a well-rounded international collection with special emphasis on the Middle East. Artroom,  Collective loft,  features artworks and handmade design pieces by 22 artists and designers from 11 countries : Pakistan, Iran, Egypt, France, Cuba, USA and Argentina amongst others. INFOS...Spring classes begin next week at the MAMARONECK Center for Continuing Education

Dear students and friends, Spring classes begin next week at the Center for Continuing Education. If you or a friend haven't registered and want to join a class, go to LMCCE.org while there is still time. Feel free to give my email to anyone who is considering a class but has questions. To accomodate as many as possible we will break for both Mamaroneck public school and French American School vacations. America Through Literature - Tuesday mornings - This class is a mix of lectures and discussions of U.S. political, cultural and social history from the post Civil War period to the present day with the objective of gaining insight on the contemporary scene. We will read excerpts from a range of fiction and non-fiction, but also use photographs, maps, music and videos to illuminate the story. Advanced Intermediate ESL - Wednesday mornings - In this class we engage in a variety of communicative activities to improve our listening, speaking, reading
