Ann Ladd Ferencz says that a strong artistic gene has always run through her family. “We are thankful to Margaret Ladd: wife, mother, and grandmother, for encouraging us to create art and appreciate all that surrounds us.”

Col. James Ladd, better known to friends as Jim, has spent a life-time painting, drawing, wood carving, metal sculpting. As an officer in the United States Army, he was accompanied by his family on tours of duty in Europe and South East Asia, where he used a sketchbook much as other parents use a camera.
