Team is pleased to announce our participation in Art Basel Miami Beach, 2010. The gallery is located in booth G09. We will present a group hanging with works by Cory Arcangel, Slater Bradley, Gardar Eide Einarsson, Massimo Grimaldi, Ryan McGinley, Muntean/Rosenblum, David Ratcliff, Gert & Uwe Tobias, Chris Vasell, Banks Violette, and Stanley Whitney.

The booth will be comprised of recent Photoshop gradients and dancing stand sculptures by Cory Arcangel, a lightbox by Massimo Grimaldi, new photographs by Slater Bradley and Ryan McGinley, as well as new paintings by Gardar Eide Einarsson, Muntean/Rosenblum, David Ratcliff, Chris Vasell, and Stanley Whitney. Large-scale woodcuts by Gert & Uwe Tobias and a microphone stand edition by Banks Violette will round out the booth.

meet the artist Liam Roberts

Liam Roberts’ fertile imagination transmutes images into abstract-like compositions of strik- ing energy and brushwork. He says that he is not a maker of pictures, but a maker of paintings, and that the viewer completes the work, not simply by looking but by the labour of seeing. Shakespeare, as usual, says it best: “Let every eye negotiate for itself . . .” Roberts’ mediums are acrylic, gouache, collage and ink. This show comprises recent and earlier works.
