With arts institutions across the country increasingly feeling financially squeezed,
some are turning to selling their works of art to pay expenses. Martha Teichner
visits the National Academy Museum, which was has been censured by the
Association of Art Museum Directors for its sale of two paintings. CBS also goes to
Brandeis University where their announced plans to close the Rose Art Museum and
sell off the collection ignited a firestorm of criticism and protests forcing the
University to rethink its plans.
