MONOTHON Explained

MONOTHON 2014 is HERE!

Sign up for MONOTHON 2014 right now!

MONOTHON, the monotype print marathon, is a unique opportunity for artists to print with a Master Printer – and support the Center for Contemporary Printmaking (CCP) during its annual fundraiser. Monothon printing sessions are open to anyone interested in creating monotype prints. Artists with all levels of printmaking experience – beginner to advanced – are encouraged to participate. The printing sessions are 5-hours in length and include paper, materials and a meal. A Master Printer will print your work while you create it, and consult with you on imagery at your request. A Press Assistant will clean up after your session. The Center for Contemporary Printmaking selects one of the works from each artist's printing session for inclusion in the Silent Auction at the Benefit Auction & Party which takes place on Saturday, November 8, at Lillian August Flagship Store. All participants receive one complimentary ticket to the Benefit Auction & Party.  Proceeds from the sale of this artwork benefit CCP workshops and educational outreach programs for the community.
