The Reading Event of Larchmont

For 3 days, the 2007 French-American Book Fair will be held in the Larchmont FASNY auditorium. For the pleasure of readers, regardless of their age, we offer 5,000 new books carefully chosen from the selections of top publishers.

For 16 years now, you will find:

3,500 French books offered at French retail prices!

¨ A selection for children and teens organized by reading level: books for beginner and intermediate readers, picture books, CD books, fairytales, novels, classics, comic books, reference books…

¨ A selection for adults with a particularly large offering this year including novels, mysteries, history books, graphic novels, and dictionaries - along with the latest prize-winning books! .

A wide selection of books in English for all ages prepared in cooperation with Diane’s Books, a renowned bookstore of Greenwich, CT. Books are tax free.

English and French used books for everyone.

meet the artist Liam Roberts

Liam Roberts’ fertile imagination transmutes images into abstract-like compositions of strik- ing energy and brushwork. He says that he is not a maker of pictures, but a maker of paintings, and that the viewer completes the work, not simply by looking but by the labour of seeing. Shakespeare, as usual, says it best: “Let every eye negotiate for itself . . .” Roberts’ mediums are acrylic, gouache, collage and ink. This show comprises recent and earlier works.
